Jane Bond and New Farm Restaurant have over 15 years experience in catering for special events; be it a dinner party for 8, cocktail party for 25, wedding reception for 150 or corporate entertaining for 200 plus.  A lot of planning goes into any event and there are a myriad of different details to worry about, so let Jane's Outside Catering look after some of them.

Venues:

We have operated from many venues in Somerset including Forde Abbey, Wigborough Manor, Brympton d'Evercy and Halswell House.  We are one of the nominated caterers at Forde Abbey and by request at others.  We also specialise in Marquee events or in your own premises.

Menus:

We like to operate a personal service where we can discuss with you what your requirements are and then produce a menu to suit you.  You may have a favourite dish that you want to include or allowances have to made for special dietary needs.  All this can be arranged and catered for in the final meal.  Of course you have to start somewhere so we have sample menus for you to look at.  These are not set in stone and can be changed to suit you.  We use the best local produce as much as possible and all our food is prepared in our kitchens at the restaurant or on site at the venue.

Costs:

  • The menu prices are guides only and a more accurate quote will be produced when we know your exact requirements, facilities at venue and style of function
  • Cutlery, crockery and glassware are separate costs and we can quote accordingly but as a rough guide, £6.00/head will provide all that is needed for a 3-course meal with a Champagne reception beforehand and coffee afterwards.
  • Linen, tables and chairs are also separate costs and we are happy to quote for them if required
  • Delivery is free within a 20 mile radius from the restaurant
  • Minimum food order - £200.00
  • Minimum size - 8 people

Chill & Removal: We can provide a chilling facility for drinks whereby we will collect within a 20 mile radius (or accept delivery) of beverages to be chilled in time to be served at the function. We will then remove all empties and dispose (recycle) of them, one less thing for you to do  - £350.00
