Wild Garlic Pesto
23-05-3013 - Jane has just rustled up some wild garlic pesto:
1. Take the dog for a walk, pick wild garlic
2. wash and chop cloves and leaves, save the flower for garnish
3. Crumble Wookey hole caved aged Cheddar into the mix
4. Sprinkle in a few pine nuts (the only non-local ingredient, although this autumn we could collect some beech nuts for next year)
4. Add some Honeypot Farm Cider Vinegar
5. Blend/pulse with local rapeseed oil, we use Beaupark and Fussels
6. Serve with Fillet steak or Roasted vegetables....mmmmm
7. Oh yes, feed the dog after the walk - not the fillet steak mind!
